There are doorbells and peepholes for each doorway, smoke alarms in each room, and two elevators with direct access to the fitness center. Rooms have a Parisian-townhouse feel, with 1930s- and 1950s-inspired decor using materials such as chrome, polished sycamore, maple, and beige flannel. Beds are covered in duvet comforters and the leather-topped desks have eggshell “pouf” stools. Each room is equipped with three LCD telephones with voice mail, high-speed Internet connections (surcharge), and 23-inch flat-screen TVs with integrated CD and DVD players.
